How can I have my training recognised in Switzerland?
Depending on the sector, you will need to have your training recognised differently in Switzerland. If you want to work as a nurse, for example, you must have your diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross (SRC). If you have a university degree in medicine, the recognition is carried out by the Medical Professions Commission (MEBEKO) in Bern. These procedures ensure that your qualifications meet Swiss standards. Please note that recognition can take up to three months, so we recommend starting the process well in advance of your move. Further information can be found here: Professional recognition.
