What does a visit to the doctor cost in Switzerland?
If you go to a GP for a cold, it usually costs 100 to 150 francs. If you go to a specialist, e.g. an eye specialist, the cost is around 300 to 350 francs. Specialist consultations are more expensive than general medical consultations. Preventive check-ups including blood tests, often referred to as check-ups, cost between 250 and 400 francs. Annual teeth cleaning at the dentist costs between 140 and 180 francs, while dental fillings cost between 250 and 400 francs. Visits to the doctor due to illness are primarily covered by basic insurance and therefore fall under the Franchise. Preventive medical check-ups, on the other hand, can be Supplementary insurance which means there is no franchise. We will be happy to help you: Contact form.
